ExpressWrite respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is processed when you use ExpressWrite.

1. Information You Provide

When using ExpressWrite, you may submit:

• Resume files or resume text
• Job listing links or job descriptions
• Optional feedback or bug reports

Resume content is processed into plain text and securely transmitted for the sole purpose of generating a cover letter.

2. Letter Storage & Access

Generated cover letters are temporarily stored on ExpressWrite servers.

• Each letter is indexed with a randomly generated secure ID.
• Anyone with the link or ID can access the letter.

Letters are considered temporary and may be deleted at any time by the user or by ExpressWrite.

When a letter is deleted, it is permanently removed from ExpressWrite storage. ExpressWrite does not retain a copy.

Resume files themselves are not permanently stored.

3. Use of OpenAI

Resume and job listing content is transmitted securely to an up-to-date ChatGPT model using the OpenAI API in order to generate cover letters.

ExpressWrite does not use submitted content to train its own models.

ExpressWrite does not control how OpenAI processes data. For more information, please review OpenAI’s Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

• Resumes are not permanently stored.
• Letters are stored temporarily.
• Deleted letters are removed from ExpressWrite systems.

ExpressWrite does not sell, rent, or trade user data.

5. Security

ExpressWrite uses HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit.

While reasonable safeguards are used, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
